How to make a fabric covered snap clip

Thank you, thank you very much for many many comments on my giveaway post.
I'm really happy (* v *)!!!! So I want to share other sewing tutorial with you!!!!

How to make a fabric covered snap clip 13
These days, I made some snap clips for my little niece.
So I want to tell you how I made the one of fabric covered.

I used 4 cm long snap clip. It is with a base to put a charm on it(But I don't need it for this.)

At first, I made a pattern from the clip. Put the clip on paper, and lined it.

Then, turn the clip out and check the red line of the picture. From here, the clip open.
How to make a fabric covered snap clip 3
Write the red line on the pattern.

Then cut one piece of bating as the line of pattern.
And cut two pieces of fabric with 3-5 mm allowance to the pattern. For the fabric, it's better to put the pattern in bias because to fold the clip good.

And for the under side fabric, cut the red line.

This time, I put adhesive interlining(cut as the pattern) on the upper fabric. It's because my batting was too thin.

Then, sew the allowance of the upper fabric with running stitch. After you should pull the thread, so please use the strong and enough length thread.
Don't cut the thread!

Put the batting and the snap clip on it and pull the thread putting the snap in the fabric.

Sew the allowance enfolding the clip.
Please be careful open the clip and not to fold the shorter flick(?<- Is this word correct???).

Today I made really tiny sarubobo plushes with drawstring bags.
Tiny sarubobo and drawstring bag

They are very small so it was very hard to make them. But today's my passion was for the tiny things (* v *)!!!!!

The most difficult work was to make sarubobo's hands.
It's so tiny, so sometimes the fabrics frayed... So I should sew very carefully.

This shape of drawstring bag is very easy to make.
They are only square piece. I sew only the lines of to put the strings.
Tiny sarubobo and drawstring bag

But, I failed to make the bag several times. At first, I wanted to make it with two fabrics but it came too thick for the tininess.
I tried to make some ways, but I couldn't succeed... So at last, I made it with only one piece of fabric. It's the best for this size.
Tiny sarubobo and drawstring bag
I used very thin fabrics, so the other side seems not so bad.

I put key chains on them to bring them with you always.

Yakitori restaurant in Yokohama

The chef is making yakitori
Yesterday we ate out at our favorite yakitori (grilled chicken) restaurant.
We like sitting at the counter to see the chef's cooking.

Drink
At first, we ordered drink. I usually drink beers, and my boyfriend likes sweet drink. Today he ordered fresh orange and litchee taste cocktail with soda. So sometimes, the waiter brings me the sweet one and beer to my boyfriend. (* v *)

And the small dish is antipasto. When you go to the izakaya(pub? bar?) style restaurant in Japan, they usually serve small dish at first and it costs 4-5 dollars usually.
In this restaurant, they serve grated radish usually and it's very delicious.

Then, we made orders of food. My boyfriend lacks decision and I choose very quickly always, so I decide where we go to eat, and what we eat. I cannot wait him...

Torikawa, yakitori
This Torikawa (the skin of chicken) is the most popular menu in this restaurant. They grilled them five times in three days. They are very crisply and spicy.

Tomato with pork, yakitori
And tomato rolled in sliced pork.

Fresh vegetables
We always order this dish of vegetables. It makes us fresh!
mayonnaise, miso and salt for vegetables
My boyfriend use these seasonings with vegetables, but I don't need any.
I like to enjoy its own fresh taste.
But the miso seasoning was with garlic flavor, and it tastes pretty good. So I put the miso on the gohan what I ordered at the last.

Tsukune, yakitori
My boyfriend's favorite yakitori, tsukune(ground chicken). I know he likes it, so I order it always.

Karaage, fried chicken
And my favorite Karaage, fried chicken with special sauce of this restaurant.

When we finished all of dishes above, our stomach were almost full. But I cannot stop eating without rice..

Gohan
So I ordered gohan at the last.
It's delicious as always.

I ordered one more drink, and actually, we ate two more yakitori.
And the cost of this dinner was about 50 dollars.
I think this is usual price for Japanese izakaya restaurant. If we drink more, it should cost more.
So when we went for a drink with my friend from Germany, he got and drank some cans of beer before go to the restaurant to reduce the cost.
In Japan, it's not prohibited to drink outside. But of course, we don't drink while walking.

When you come to Japan, I'd like to tell you some good restaurants! Please ask me (* v *)!!!!
