Spring flowers mini quilts
Flower season!
I have pollen allergy, so it was hard to go outside in March. But now, the pollen is not so hard and I can go out without a mask(Many Japanese people use masks to avoid the pollen).
Today, I made two mini quilt with flower embroidery.
I used my favorite double gauze fabrics from Japanese cotton and linen fabric brand. This is soft and very good quality.
The flowers on the upper quilt are which I see near a small river near my apartment.
And for another one, I used some buttons which I got from an ETSY shop. She sells 200 buttons in about 5 dollars. Most of them were pink buttons, so I made this Sakura color flowers.
I didn't draw a design, and enjoyed stitch as my image.
So it comes not so well desighned and arranged, but I feel more handmade.
