What I made first for my tomato.

Hello.
Sometimes I feel better but not always. So I couldn't update this so long and a reader sent me an e-mail worrying about me. Thank you very much.
Now I feel good so could take pictures (* v *).

These are first items what I made for my baby in my womb.
Sloth bib

When I feel better, I sewed them little by little.
The design of this sloth bib is by my boyfriend. He thought of the shape and I liked it very much. So it's our first presents for tomato.

Sloth bib
I made two because our friend is having a baby also in the same summer.

Sloth bib
We were at the same university, same class and same lab. And at the friend's bridal, I and my boyfriend met after a long interval(Till then we were just friends).
So he is precious friend for us (* v *).

Rabbit bib
I also made this rabbit bib.

Rabbit bib
And now I'm making the last one. I make two sets of bibs and want to give our friend one set.

After sewing, sometimes I feel bad but I'm very happy during the sewing time. I really enjoy it.

By the way, some people asked me when is my due date.
It's 24th. August.
Now I'm in 11th weeks and my morning sick is getting better little by little. When I feel good, I repeatedly read your comments. They make me happy.

And my younger sister give birth of her second baby in this month.
So this year is very busy for my parents. They are too excited now (* v *).

At last, I'm preparing new giveaway for you. I've got some Japanese sewing books and some beautiful linen fabrics for you. Please wait for a while.

Thank you very much again.
Have a beautiful day (* v *)!!!!

P.S.
This is what my boyfriend cooked for me when I felt bad.
I love this dish very much and he cooked it very well. It has rice under the chicken and egg.

Hello Mai!

I am glad you and Tomato are doing well. And I love the bibs, they are adorable. I don't think I could stand to actually use them because I wouldn't want them to get messy. =^.^=

When I was pregnant with my son I had very intense morning sickness the whole nine months. To ease it I drank ginger tea. Maybe you can find it easily in Japan but if you can't just steep one or two thin slices of fresh ginger root and drink it with a lemon wedge and a little honey.

Mai, you will feel better soon! I remember my first trimester... I barely ate anything and even lost a little weight. But when the second trimester came around, I mean like CLOCKWORK I felt amazing. Then I ate, and ate, and ate.... and gained 65 pounds, hahaha! You probably won't gain that much weight, but I promise you will feel better. It feels like the earth growing inside of you. It's so wonderful.

Congrats! I just had my baby girl several months ago after several years waiting, so I know how you must feel right now. Very excited for you. The pregnant feelings sound so familiar. =) Just hang in there, it will get better. At the mean time, get more rest, you will need it later, believe me! I also love crafting, it calms me down. Oh, almost forgot to say, love your bunny bibs. I also made lots of bibs, burpcloth, and soft toys for my sweetpea. I am very happy to tell you she loved them all. So your tomato will appreciate yours as well.
Congrats again, mama!

I had awful morning (and night, and all day) sickness too. Unexpectedly, really spicy food helped. For a friend, only dairy would stay down. Find that one thing you can eat, and know it will pass soon.
