Wow! what a beautiful blog, I just came via whipup.com and have added your blog to my RSS. :-)

So many great tutorials, its so nice of you to share your talent around the crafting community.

I would love to get a little package from you over here in tasmania australia but with 200 comments already I might have to keep an eye out for future giveaways.

All of your things look beautiful, mostly I am crafting for my little girl who is one on the 23rd of march and to replace things in the house as they wear out.

My favorite colors are white, purple, and pink. :) I live with my mom, older brother and an older sister who has two children. I own 3 cats and 1 kitten whom I adopted 2 weeks ago.

Hi Mai,

I discovered your lovely blog yesterday through a link to your Sarubobo tutorial. I immediately made one. My two kids (6 and 4 years old) loved it so much, that now I have to make more, so they stop fighting over it! Thank you so much for the explanations!

After that I started reading your blog and didn't stop till I reached your first post. You are so talented and inspiring! I hope to make more things with your tutorials.

You are so generous with you giveaways! And I was also very touched by the post about your dream to guide tourists and have your own shop! It's my dream to visit Japan, I started to learn Japanese twice and I read a lot about Japan. I hope one day to come to Japan and visit your store and have you as my guide!

Hi there - I've been looking forward to this giveaway! I so enjoy seeing what you make. I enjoy playing with fabrics, especially scrap fabrics. I have a friend who gives me her scraps, and I sometimes buy scrap bags for the variety they provide. Lately I've been concentrating my sewing on some new clothes for myself, and sewing baby quilts to donate to charity.

<3 My family is me, my boyfriend, and our two chickens. I am a Physics Grad Student and he is a Waiter at a Swanky restaurant in Seattle. But our secret is that we want to be career gardeners/farmers. I love birdies and the colors of birdies. I hope to win because your crafts and selections of materials are SO lovely and wonderful. <3 The sloths especially. I don't think the sloth is considered "cute" in American culture... but that is just silly. There's a night exhibit at the zoo (that sadly closed recently) that has a pair of sloths that follow each other around in the dark through the tree branches. They are so adorable. Long snouty sloths. :)

Hi Mai, I live in Sydney, Australia and I love swimming in the ocean and collecting little parts of the world like shells and sea glass and seed pods and sharing my home with them!
I teach hand sewing to kids and love designing projects to show them how simple it is to make beautiful things.
And I love all things Japanese. The books, the materials, the crafts.

Hi! Mai,
What a fantastic giveaway you are offering. Your generosity overwhelms me. At a time when you are so busy with your new husband and little tomato growing, you can still manage to think of doing something for other people. You truly are a precious doll.
I am a mum of 3 and grandmother of 4. My 6yr old grandaughter and I are going to make a quilt over the Easter holidays together. She loves fabric and buys some for herself every time we go shopping at the quilt stores. She can sew on the machine all by herself. She is a clever little cookie. My favourite colour is blue and red and hers is pink and purple. I make quilts by machine and quilt them myself by machine. I sew everyday and just love it.
I do so love to read your blog and see what you are doing. This time I was a bit late and see that 200+ comments have already been sent. You will spend all your free time reading.

Hello, I've just found your blog and will be spending all day reading the older posts!
A bit about me:
I love playing with different fabrics and textures, but I knit and crochet too.
I have 2 cats and a 15 month old son (who has taken up all my time since he was born, so I am only just starting to craft again)
I enjoy making things for my son, but would love to make things for a living. I have a whole book of ideas, but no time at the moment ...
I love Japanese style, as it is so simple - I tend to make things too complicated.
My favourite colours are cool natural colours, although sometimes I like bright primary colours too.
In real life I am a librarian, so I love reading crafty books!

Hello Mai, I've always loved to view your blog and great to hear that you are having another giveaway :D

I've always loved to do some needle work since young. Be it sewing, beading (haha, i use needles to bead) or doing some cross stitches.I loved working around with fabrics too, which is why I happened to chance upon your blog while Google some time ago.

I have two older siblings. However, they are overseas working and studying. Hence, I'm living with my parents only.

I love White, Pink, Yellow and Grey. Aren't they quite a dreamy combination when together? Despite the contrast between yellow and grey, where one is sunny and other is gloomy...

Anyway, wish you all the best in everything, having time for some craft while preparing for the arrival of your healthy tomato. Wish you and your family good health :D

Thank You :]

Thank you for the giveaway! I'm always impressed at how good you are with your hands. About me: I just got married and am enjoying my new life. My favourite colours would be red, pink and white. I love natural fabrics like linen and cotton. I am crazy about all things Japanese- interior design, zakka, fabric, kawaii things. Sewing and making paper products are 2 of my favourite creative pursuits.

Such a lovely blog you have! I found it through a Google search for hair clips, I needed those for my 1 year old daughter. I am a fan of your designs and admire your skills and patience in hand sewing!

I used to like only non-useful, relaxing embroidering of own designs, but my children have helped me to find out joy in ordinary useful (machine) sewing. Baby-quilts were nice, yes, but cloth diapering was the great breakthrough. It is a great alternative for unenvironmental disposable diapers! I have sewn cute & soft, colourful, comfortable diapers in various different types for my both children. I really recommend you to try it with your Tomato! (if you need practical tips, I'm ready to tell about how it actually goes). There is quite a vital cloth diapering and diaper sewing culture here in Finland, through diapersewing I have found lots of sewing friends with little children! Nowadays I don't need to sew diapers any more, there is a limit how many diapers one little girl can use, but now I sew comfy, colourful childrens clothing and that is so rewarding.

I have a 3 years old boy and a 1 year old girl. I like black-and-white contrast (and Japanese indigo+white as well, but that is rarely seen here) and bright, cheerful colours like green, red, orange, turquoise.

Reading all the comments is like traveling around the world! You are ever so generous, Mai and I wish you all the best with your baby.

I am a mother of three (boy 9,girl 7, boy 2) and I am working part-time at a museum, where I am responsible for the textiles. Therefor, I am really into all kinds of textile crafts...

I love Japanese design and made a Kimono (by hand) for my love, last year. I am eager to learn more about Japanese sewing techniques (like Sashiko) from my teacher, who was trained in Japan and love indigo blue.

Thanks for the effort you put into your blog and the tutorials!
Greetings from Germany, Bele

Hello to you, your husband, and your little tomato! :o)

I enjoy sewing of all kinds. I consider myself to be mainly a quilter -- but this year I want to make more clothes for myself. I have two little boys and a baby girl. I enjoy pink, orange, and green -- even all together at once!

Thanks for such a fun little giveaway!

Olá Mai!
No idea if this post is in time of participate in your giveaway. Here, in portugal it is 8:47 am of 14th March, I don't know how many hours is different from Japan.
We had lots of rain, and in Madeira there was a tragedy with flows that kill many people and took the home to many more. :(
Anyway, in this last week the sun decided to appear and we are having lovely but cold days.
I'm very glad that you are feeling better. I'm a mother of a 3 year old girl and I remember my time pregnant as a journey of permanent discovery. :)
I know you provably hear this every time but do rest yourself. Taking care of a newborn baby can be very exausting (dependig of the baby, of course, they are all different kinds. Mine, most of the days just sleep half an hour from time to time! And want to be fed in between!!) so you must rest now! :)
Tudo de bom! (wishing you the best!)

Due to the time difference, I don't know if I'll post this in time! I did want to tell you that I love your blog and all your projects. I was particularly happy to see the sloths because they were a mascot where I worked before so they are dear to me.

I've just begun sewing and I'm having so much fun. You are such an inspiration! :)

I'm a new reader of your blog and I really enjoy seeing what you create so lovingly by hand.

I'm from Australia and my favourite colour is orange. I mainly sew clothing and accessories for myself and sometimes dabble in crochet and knitting.

Lately, I've started sewing baby items for all the children in my extended family so I'm very inspired by the pretty items for children that you make.

Hi Mai, I'm very happy to discover your giveaway, thanks so much, I'm very very new in your blog, I discover your blog one day when my litle sister ask me to make a pencase for her and it's very helpful your tutorial, but me, I didn't make it with fabric , I found a lot of plastic bag that I 've got when I go to shopping and some of this has amazing printing (especially the one that I've got when I shopped souvenirs in Stockholm !!!!) so I decided to make pencase this material for my sister... I try to make some blog but I really busy at this time (huhuhu I'm student and now I have a lot of exam!!!!) but maybe in summer thing will go well I hope. I really want to talk more more about me but I think I'm late in your giveaway, huhu but anyway love to practice english, I know I make a lot of mistake, I'm very sorry about it, I'm Vietnamese but now I'm in France. One more time thanks a lot and hope you and your family especially your tomato got a lot a lot of "santé" (french).
