Baby bib

One of my best friend gives birth this Christmas. I'm really happy to hear that because the birthday is same as my mother's.
Last week, I made a baby bib for her new born baby. I wanted to make something original and cute, and I designed it as a bear's face.

I used double gauze cotton for the backside and put cotton fabric in the inside for much drool.

After that, I made another two bibs for my shop.

Those are just so beautiful. Is the embroidery thread you used cotton too? I would like to buy one for a friend who is vegan so doesn't like to have things using silk, wool etc. I love your work and your blog.

Hello!
Thank you for your comment. This embroidery thread is Japanese cotton thread. It is called Sashiko thread.
Your birds are beautiful!!!!!

How sweet! I like the floral fabric very much. I think I've commented on this before, but your handstitching is so neat and even. I enjoy sewing by hand, but my skills are not as good as yours.

Thank you so much! but I'm not so good at stitching... I just sew a lot every day!

Mai, you have such good ideas. You should start a company, like Aranzi Aronzo. You could write books and print your own fabric and have your things in shops. You deserve to be recognized.
