Origami Lotus Flower pin

I made lotus flowers with thin cotton fabrics.
I made them in the same way as Origami way.
How to make origami lotus

It was difficult to fold cotton, so I sewed the center and four corners a little.

I came up with this idea while I was sleeping last night. I'm always thinking what I'll sew next.

Do you jot them down so you don't forget? I try to remember to do that but I'm usually too tired to fumble around finding my pad and pencil.

Hello Jessica,
I always think about new recipes and when I wake up, I begin cooking soon.

Hello Kim,
Sometimes I forget ideas. But they come again some days later, so I don't care... To take memo is difficult,,, finding memo pad, putting light on,opening eyes,,, I cannot...

Me and my friend loveds idea the whole cotton fabric thing. So we tried it but had some difficulties with the fabric. Finally we just hot glued the fabric to a piece of paper and it worked.
We did think that the middle looked empty so we made another lotus and hot glued it in the middle of the first one and then sewed the middle four corners to give it a budding type of look. We ended up make hair pins out of them and they turned out really cute :)

But anyways, i really love the stuff you make and your blog.

Hello Gabby,
I made it with very thin fabric, so I didn't have much difficulties.
I want to see your lotus flower.
